Knock-offs are a real, growing threat to the design industry, and designers and manufacturers need to know what steps they can take to protect their designs, their businesses and their profits. This seminar on intellectual property issues relating to the home furnishings industry will explore the knock-off issue from both sides – are original designs worth protecting as investments in our industry’s future, or are knock-offs an economical way to make good design accessable to everyone?
